Fun Lessons with our Friendly Piano Teacher
We are a team of two piano teachers. Between our school classes and musical studies, we conduct private lessons in our home studio, or travel out in the local area for students wanting home lessons.
We provide mostly one-on-one styles of lessons, where we guarantee that students will improve their instrument playing skills as well as music reading abilities. The education is important whilst conducting lessons, but we also work hard to make sure the students are enjoying playing and making music. We prioritise this concept above all else, which sets us apart from other music teachers.
Our price for our teaching is one of the most affordable in the music teaching business, which gives our students great value for money! We want to make music lessons accessible for students everywhere, and our studios are always open for new students to come in at any time during the year.
Both our piano teachers are accredited professionals, with separate but similar level of attainment and recognition in the field. As a business, our music teachers all hold a valid Working with Children Certificate NSW, as most of our students are young beginners or studying at a primary school level.
As a business mantra, we tailor lessons to suit individual needs in order to ensure students get what they want out of the lessons. This is important, because no single approach will universally apply to all music students. Our experience and time working with students has allowed us to understand that each lesson needs to be customised to suit the playing ability and level for the student. That’s not to say we’re not structured; our teachers are great communicators, planning ahead of lessons and keeping the students and parents informed of progress and where they’re at.
A Little Bit About The Teachers
Frank is based in Lane Cove and has been teaching for numerous years. Before he started private tuition through Melodic Majors, Frank worked at various music schools to gain experience, where he worked with a wide variety of students and parents. Frank is particularly great at engaging young beginners, where his gentle approach has seen students develop so successfully, that we always get great feedback and compliments for Frank and his teaching style!
Denis is based in West Pennant Hills, and has been teaching around the North Shore area for a long time. Active in the music scene, Denis is a great performer, and an even better teacher. He works closely with students at a higher level, who take music in their high school lessons and even university classes. Denis is methodological, friendly, and patient. His structured approach to lessons has won him a lot of praise from grateful students and teachers, who have gone beyond a hobbyist level playing their instrument, but find joy and fulfillment through music.
